Kostas Chatzidimitriou, Actor
Kostas, is an actor, singer and singing teacher. He has performed in theater shows (musicals, contemporary plays, ancient dramas), films and TV broadcasts in Greece. He has studied at the National Drama School of Northern Greece. He has also studied classical song and piano and he has a diploma of monody. He has attended several workshops and masterclasses of singing and dancing.
He continues his exploration on music studding at the Musicology Department of Kapodistrian University of Athens .
As an actor he has worked for the National Theater, The National Theater of the North, the Regional Theater of Kalamata and many private organizations.
He has participated in numerous productions of music theater and in music shows.
His latest works are:
- Oedipus Rex, by Sophocles, directed by Rimas Tuminas, a co production of the Greek National Theater and Vakhtangov Theater of Mosque, presented in Vakhtangov Theater and touring in other countries.
- Chekhov, silent? by Elias Maroutsis, directed by Esther Andre Gonzalez and presented at the stage of Apo Mihanis Theater (February - March 2018)
As a singing teacher he is teaching and giving workshops on the technique of NG. He is a collaborator of the private school Ballet des Etoiles and of the String Theory Ensemble.
